Tetra Training

This course is suited to professionals who require fall protection training across leaning ladders, pitched roofs and flat roof ladder systems. It is ideal for those who have already completed foundational ladder use and inspection training but are currently operating without adequate fall prevention measures across all three environments.

The course includes classroom-based learning with a lecture and video presentation, a written assessment to ensure understanding, and practical training and assessment for real-world application. Delegates will learn to use personal fall protection equipment effectively, maintaining three points of contact across leaning ladders, pitched and flat roof ladder systems.

Prior completion of a ladder use and inspection course is required. Each participant must bring a TETRA Leaning Ladder Kit (available to buy direct from TETRA) and must attend wearing a hard hat with a chin strap and safety footwear. Successful delegates will receive a DMD Leaning Ladder, Pitched and Flat Roof Safety System e-certification accredited by TETRA, valid for 3 years from the date of the course.

This course is aimed at delegates who are, or will be, responsible for the safe use of leaning ladders and working on pitched roofs in the workplace. It is suitable for those who use portable leaning ladders for short duration access on pitched roofs, who have already been trained to use and inspect those ladders but are currently operating without any means to prevent a fall. Knowledge and experience of safety harness use is an advantage.
