The Emergency First Aid at Work course is an accredited 6-hour course and a great introduction to first aid training. Learners will leave feeling confident in how to deal with emergency situations in a competent manner, both in the workplace and across every aspect of their life.
Who is this course suitable for?
This course is for individuals nominated as first aiders in the workplace, or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to first aid. It is tailored for those working in low-risk environments such as offices or gyms, and is suitable for SIA licence holders.
What does this course cover?
The course covers health and safety regulations; scene and primary surveys; prioritising first aid; treatment of unconsciousness; resuscitation and CPR; shock; choking; seizures; bleeding; and common workplace injuries. Following completion of learning, delegates are assessed and certified, with continuous assessment by the trainer throughout.
Additional course information
The course can be held at the Norwich-based training facility or at your premises. The maximum number of attendees per session is 12.
